St. Ann’s Home

When it opened in 1963, St. Ann’s Home in Irondequoit was considered state of the art. Five decades later, times have changed and so have people’s expectations for what senior living should be.

Through a major renovation project,  St. Ann’s Home will undergo a total makeover in both structure and design, resulting in a more modern living space for our residents. This will be the first renovation to our 55-year-old building since 2001 and will dramatically change the way people view St. Ann’s as a provider of senior care.

Key Features:

New household model reflecting the preference of seniors and their families for a more intimate delivery of care
Two households of 15 residents per floor, with a shared kitchen and increased common space
Dedicated care team for each household, creating a feeling of connectedness and stability supported by the new living space
Greater social and therapeutic options for residents right on their floors
Larger bedrooms, most with in-room shower

St. Ann’s Community at Cherry Ridge

Since opening in 2005, St. Ann’s Community at Cherry Ridge has been the first choice for senior living in Webster. To ensure our current and future residents can enjoy the lifestyle and modern amenities they seek, we are embarking on a new renovation project that includes several components.

A multi-phase transformation is well underway. Our Apartment Homes now have a new look that has been described by residents as “warm, relaxing and spa-like”. This fresh, contemporary theme will be carried throughout The Glen (assisted living) and Rainier Grove (memory care). Additionally, our future renovation of Rainier Grove will include upgraded dining space to enhance meal experiences and a great room which will be the front door for all.

The Club Room

Located next to the Mullin-DiProsa Community Center, the Club Room provides additional space for the varied events, meetings and activities for residents, staff and the community we serve.

Future plans include a Center for Wellness, which will feature an indoor swimming pool and fitness center designed around the needs and preferences of active seniors. Additional spaces will enhance the activities we currently offer, including yoga, cooking classes, art shows, and presentations, keeping vitality and personal growth at the center of the Cherry Ridge experience. We will also connect all of our separate buildings with enclosed walkways. This will allow residents to get from place to place without going outdoors.
