Hospice Care
Providing highly compassionate care at the end of life is one of the most important things we do at St. Ann’s Community.
The Leo Center for Caring: Hospice Care Serving Greater Rochester
We offer long-term hospice and palliative care in our Leo Center for Caring, a quiet, 12-bed unit nestled in its own space on our Irondequoit campus. Admissions are accepted from the greater community. The Leo Center provides a peaceful atmosphere that allows patients to complete their lives with dignity, sensitivity, and comfort. Our clinical staff is specially trained in providing hospice and palliative (comfort-oriented) care with compassion. Spacious rooms and comfortable surroundings allow patients and their families a special opportunity for peace and closeness.

Hospice Care for Our Residents
Residents in all of our communities and their families have the right to choose the hospice agency they want to provide their care. St. Ann’s Community has longstanding relationships with Visiting Nurse Service Hospice and Lifetime Hospice. Both provide hospice care to people in their homes, including those in independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing on St. Ann’s Irondequoit and Webster campuses.
