Swing dancing class for seniors offered in Chapel Oaks Wellness Series

A swing dancing class for seniors will take place Thursday, August 30th from 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM at St. Ann’s Community at Chapel Oaks, 1550 Portland Avenue, Irondequoit. The class is part of the ongoing Wellness Series at Chapel Oaks that is open to the public.
The Rochester Swing Dance Network will teach participants basic footwork and some fun moves (including the cuddle, peek-a-boo, yo-yo, and pinwheel) for dancing to big band music, rock ‘n roll, and R&B. The instructors will use their unique teaching approach known as “Can-Do” Dancing to make learning easy and fun.
