St. Ann’s Community promotes Shaneeya Cooper to Associate Director of Nursing

St. Ann’s Community, Rochester’s leading senior housing and health services provider, is proud to announce the promotion of Shaneeya Cooper to Associate Director of Nursing.
Shaneeya is a Registered Nurse (RN), and she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Nazareth College. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester, and she is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing Education. Shaneeya has 17 years of nursing and long-term, acute, and ambulatory care experience, starting out as a unit aide and progressed throughout her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) prior to obtaining her RN and BSN. Shaneeya previously served as a clinical adjunct professor at Nazareth College, where she was responsible for teaching future registered nurses.
Prior to her promotion, Shaneeya has worked as a Nurse Educator at St. Ann’s Home since 2019. As a member of the nursing leadership team, Shaneeya will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the overall operation of the community 24-hours a day, seven days a week. She is tasked with creating a productive, supportive, and satisfying environment for residents, patients, and staff.
