St. Ann’s Community promotes Chrisann Fennessey to Director of Education

St. Ann’s Community, Rochester’s leading senior housing and health services provider, is proud to announce the advancement of Chrisann Fennessey to the role Director of Education.

A resident of Fairport, Chrisann has worked with St. Ann’s since 2017, previously as a Nurse Educator. In her new role as Director of Education, she will be responsible for the development and implementation of education programming to meet the learning needs of St. Ann’s employees and families.

Her responsibilities at St. Ann’s Community permeate all departments. “Education is part of our every initiative. When it comes to healthcare, you’re a lifelong learner,” she states.

To Chrisann, the most rewarding part of her job is seeing the residents benefit from the educational programs of St. Ann’s. She’d like residents, families, and staff to know that they can come to the education department for any questions – from medical equipment questions to advice on nursing school.

“I’ve always had a passion for working with elders, ever since I was very young – they are such a valuable resource. We should learn to appreciate all the wisdom that comes with getting older.”

St. Ann’s Community is proud to have Chrisann Fennessey as a team member working to Care for the Most Important People on Earth.
