St. Ann’s Celebrates Becoming Level Up Champion by Raising Minimum Wage

Rochester, NY – November 15, 2021 – St. Ann’s Community is proud to be recognized as a Level Up Champion by the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative (RMAPI).  A Level Up Champion is an employer that has taken the first step toward wage equity by instituting a $15 or higher starting wage within their organization.

“The impacts of COVID-19 have fundamentally changed the workforce.  As we look back on the last 20+ months, we are so proud of how our team members rose to the challenge and provided exceptional care and service to our Elders.” said McRae. “We are equally proud of the way in which these employees came together and supported each other during such difficult times.  This wage increase demonstrates our commitment to them and to future team members who will care for the most important people on earth.”

The commitment of a Level Up Champion demonstrates St. Ann’s investment in their employees. The Level Up Champions badge also shows employees, families, and the greater Rochester area that St. Ann’s is committed to fighting poverty and lifting up our community.
