Restricted Visitation
March 12, 2020
Effective immediately, in accordance with federal regulations regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, St. Ann’s Community is not allowing visitors unless approved by Administration.
COVID-19 is now active in Monroe County. As a result we are safeguarding our residents to limit their exposure to this virus. Residents are particularly vulnerable and it is very important that we protect them.
Visitors will not be allowed to enter the facility except for hospice or end-of-life situations.
If a resident is on hospice or at end of life, family will be on the approved list to gain entry into the building.
If you are on the list to gain entry into the building, you will be screened.
St. Ann’s will screen for the following:
• If you have signs or symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat.
• In the last 14 days, if you have had contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, or under investigation for COVID-19, or are ill with respiratory illness.
• If you traveled internationally within the last 14 days to countries, cities, or locations where there is a community outbreak of COVID-19.
Individuals who answered “yes” to any of the above questions, will not be allowed in the building.
As you know this is a rapidly evolving situation and we will continue to provide updates on our website.
As always, the well-being of our residents is our top priority. We greatly appreciate your continued support.
