Please join St. Ann’s Foundation in congratulating Shelly Woodworth, our 2019 Partner in Philanthropy
Posted on April 29, 2019
Created in 2004, the Partner in Philanthropy award recognizes an employee who demonstrates an exceptional level of support for St. Ann’s Community throughout his/her personal and professional commitment to philanthropy.
St. Ann’s Community is thrilled to announce this year’s honoree, Shelly Woodworth. Shelly joined St. Ann’s in 2001. Originally a Dining Services employee at Chapel Oaks, Shelly’s current role is Transportation Coordinator, supporting the entire St. Ann’s organization. In addition to giving her time and extraordinary talent to the seniors of St. Ann’s Community, Shelly also contributes annually through the Caring Hands Employee Campaign. She has acted as a true partner to St. Ann’s Foundation in numerous ways. She will be recognized at the Salute to Philanthropy Luncheon on May 23rd.
Shelly has been instrumental in assisting the Foundation with preparing grant applications to secure new resident transportation vehicles. With her expertise in all things transportation, and her incredible attention to detail, St. Ann’s has been granted 14 new vans in the last 10 years by the Department of Transportation. It is not an exaggeration to say that this could not have happened without her help.
Shelly is a consecutive-year donor to the Caring Hands Employee Campaign, helping St. Ann’s Community raise funds to support its seniors. She has also assisted with the United Way Campaign, and has played a key role in St. Ann’s participation in the Alzheimer’s Walk.
Whether it’s assisting with last-minute requests to transport donors to a Foundation event, or dropping off gift baskets to chefs of St. Ann’s annual FOOD FIGHT fundraiser, Shelly’s consistently positive attitude and commitment to supporting philanthropy makes her a true partner to the Foundation.
Please join St. Ann’s Community in recognizing Shelly Woodworth as their 2019 Partner in Philanthropy.
