Manager of Volunteer Services
Barbara Joyce, Manager of Volunteer Services has been with St. Ann’s Community for many years. With over 30 years’ experience in Volunteer Management, Barb has seen the positive impact volunteers have on the daily lives of our elderly residents. For the past ten years Barb has also led St. Ann’s Angels, a group of approximately one-hundred volunteers whose mission is to raise money for Annie’s Angel Fund. Through various special events including the Tap and Vine event St. Ann’s Angels have helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars that directly support resident programming and provides individual grants to financially limited residents. Barb has had firsthand experience with St. Ann’s services having had both parents being served in transitional care.
Barb graduated with a bachelor’s from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Human Services and Gerontology. She also has earned certificates in Volunteer Administration and St. John Fisher’s Gerontology program.
Barb and husband Patrick are long time Webster residents and when not working enjoy traveling to Charleston, SC, the Adirondacks and the Finger Lakes region. They also both volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
